Just Friends (2005): Dir: Roger Kumble / Cast: Ryan Reynolds, Amy Smart, Chris Klein, Anna Faris, Christopher Marquette: Title regards the very words males hate to hear from the women they have crushes on. Ryan Reynolds plays an overweight high school graduate who left town for ten years when a humiliating situation ended with his best friend learning that he liked her beyond friendship.
I truly did not want this to end. The actors made the story feel genuine.
Chris Brander (Ryan Reynolds) is an overweight teen and he's in love with his best friend Jamie Palamino (Amy Smart). But in an attempt to proclaim his love, he makes a fool of himself in front of a class party.
