I have read a number of books on QMS, lean, kaizen and TPS - Some are good, others are confusing.Thankfully Lean ISO 9001 does a great job of explaining how waste can be eliminated from a 9001 quality management system, and with a little creative thinking it is easy to see how the same lean principles can be applied to your own management system (AS9100, TS16949, ISO13485 etc) and even other operational tasks.

This book opened my eyes on the way ISO 9001 can be the foundation for a "business management system" (rather than a narrowly-defined and -used quality system). And on the compatibility of that standard with lean principles and tools.

What I like about his book the most is that it provides you with all the tools you need to improve your work and your personal life. All of these teachings can be applied to both.
